OUR NOTES
When the history tells us a tower is “gone” from the Coeur d’Alene National Forest, that’s usually exactly what it means. Whoever was in charge of removing these towers took their jobs very seriously. Rarely do we find much of anything left behind to tell the story.
The hike in was more of a bushwack then a hike. At the summit we found some No. 9 Wire and 3 cement footings.
