Our mission at Idaho Fire Lookouts is to help preserve the history of both the structures and the legacy of the men and women who worked the lookouts.
We do this by sharing stories and interviews from those working the lookouts and sharing stories about protecting, visiting, and sustainably enjoying these amazing locations.
Mix together a love of hiking, a drive to explore, and a passion to learn the stories about places we discover. Somehow that all adds up to two self-proclaimed Lookout Nerds!
