The lookout tower may be gone but the views here are 110% worth the visit!
Bobtail Peak Lookout was destroyed in the 1950s and is completely overgrown today.
A few footings is all that remains
After visiting the sites of Butler Mountain and Blacktail Mountain we are a little confused and think perhaps the written history is incorrect going by the ruins we found.
Absolutely nothing left of this tower that we could find.
Nothing but footings remain at this lookout site.
This 90+ year old crows nest still stands.

Eighty Peak is home to an electronics site with very few remnants of the past.
