Nothing left of this lookout except a beautiful view

Bert Russell files: Ken Maryott interview in North Fork, by Bert Russell:  Ken Maryott on horse and the two mules in the foreground loaded with lumber. Six mules there, but you can’t see all of them. That was when I first started packing for Hi Hand. This was to build Grassy Mt lookout in 1927 or 1928. This was during NRA days when packers could only work 15 days a month, but Ken being District Packer worked every day. (Thank you Mary & Ronnie Mills for providing the photo)
