1934: 50′ L4 Pole Tower with patrol platform on ridge
1946: Abandoned
Our Notes:
We were able to drive up to this site. Like Polaris Peak, the summit was pretty clean. We did find the footings and a benchmark, but that was about it.
This peak bears the name of Ed Pulaski, the legendary Forest Service ranger who saved 40 men during the Great Fire of 1910 and later invented the iconic Pulaski tool still used in wildland firefighting today.
