OUR NOTES

We missed visiting Huckleberry Mountain by about 10 years. It was sold for under $500 to the highest bidder at auction and removed.

More info about its removal and rebuild on the owners Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/HuckleberryMountainLookout/

There are still ruins left at the site, including some timbers from the R-6 and the cement footings from both the L-4 and the R-6 towers.

We found the initials RB in the cement on one of the footings from the R-6 built in 1974.

We found these two crosses on the same hill and are researching to see if we can find who SHATZ was in relation to Huckleberry Mountain. If you have more info, would you please consider messaging us?
