History
1930 – L-4 Cab
1960’s – Abandoned
1987 – Restored by volunteers from Spokane Mountaineers and Priest River Back Country Horsemen
1995 – Added to the National Historic Lookout Register
2016 – Burned Down
Before Little Snowy Top burnt down, it was the only remaining 30’s vintage L-4 groundhouse in the Priest Lake area.
Unlike other lookouts in the area, it was not demolished due to its remote location, a nine-mile trail in, close to the Canadian border.
Destroyed on September 3rd, 2016, by a fire.
