History

  • 1920’s – 40′ pole tower with 7×7 cab erected. Also, a cabin with living quarters.
  • 1930 – Staffed by Mr & Mrs Sutliff (*USFS Photo Collection)
  • 1931- Staffed by Jim Parr (*Fire Lookouts of the Northwest)
  • 1934 – Replaced with an 80′ steel Aeromotor and another cabin
  • 1952- Staffed by Ralph Jaszowski. (*Gary Weber Photo Collection)
  • 1959 – Tower moved to Newport Hill
