1935 – Aeromotor tower and living quarters built.
1994 – Registered on National Register of Historic Places
1997 – Last Year Staffed
1998 – Registered with National Historic Lookout Register
2013 – Repair and stabilization efforts began
Unique Facts
- During its last few years in service, it was possibly the most remote active lookout in the continental US.
- During World War II, this tower was used to look for Japanese Balloon Bombs
