Know more about who staffed this tower, or when? Let us know.

The pack string left for Myrtle Peak early the next morning. The Herald Represetnative went down to Snow creek and caught a mess of trout, while Crossley and Peel spent the greater part of the morning errecting a new Bosworth range-finding board on the observation platform. Peel said it was a shame to put such a fine instrument on the oldtower, but he was glad to get it, just the same. By using the Bosworth boardfires, when detected, canbe “located” immediately, and the smoke chasers sent out by telephonic instructions.
