History
Sundance Mountain Lookout is located near the southeast end of Priest Lake with some of the most incredible views in the region.
1928 – Alidade & phone on the summit, with a camp located 1/4 mile to the west.
1935 – 20′ pole L-4 tower was built.
1981 – 20′ wooden tower was built.
Sundance Mountain is currently staffed by volunteers during the fire season.
