History
Chair Point Lookout was built in 1931 – a 65′ pole L-6 cabin.
1953 – 41′ TT L-4 cab was built.
1980 – 41′ TT Flat cab was built.
Chair Point lookout is staffed every fire season.
The tower and cabin were wrapped in protective foil in 2015 due to the advancing Teepee Springs fire. Luckily, the fire did not reach the tower.
